This is the page description.

Foundation-Buddenbrock-davignon

planned ET breeding Spring 2022 of GP stallion Foundation and Premium Mare Candidate Brilliant Blume (Buddenbrock-Davignon). Foal will be for sale in-utero to approved riding home.

Foundation is a premium stallion by Fidertanz and competed at International GP level by Matthias Rath. He has produced none less than 25 licensed sons and 62 premium daughters to date. He is known to produce highly rideable horses with three outstanding gaits.

Brilliant Blume “Brilly” is by the Elite Trakhener stallion Buddenbrock who has produced numerous FEI level horses as well upper level eventing horses. Brilly herself has competed through Third Level consistently scoring in the upper 60’s-70’s, and will continue to move up the levels. Please see her page for more details.

ET partnership Sales

I am looking to develop breeding partnerships with competitive FEI level riders (Pro or AA). I would do all the insemination breeding work and embryo flush using one of my three mares; EM Roseblume, PMC Brilliant Blume or DWB Louisiana (see their individual mare pages) and frozen semen that I already own (or a stallion you have purchased). Once an embryo is flushed it will be shipped to the ET facility of your choosing for implant into a recipient mare. You (the buyer) are responsible for costs of embryo shipping and ET fees on your end associated with embryo implant, recipient mare lease as well as mare care, foaling out, foal raising, weaning and return of the recipient mare (essentially all the traditional ET fees and foaling/raising/ weaning fees).

You are only responsible for fees to me once a recipient mare is found in foal at 60 days. At that stage buyer would pay me the cost of semen (if using my frozen semen) for only the successful cycle plus $1,000.00. Any cycle that did not produce an embryo, or an embryo that did not “stick” in a recip mare to 60 days, you have no fees due to me (you will still have costs associated at the ET recip mare facility).

As anyone breeding is aware it can sometimes take multiple cycles to produce an embryo, which can be quite costly. This removes some potential expenses, and risk, for you on the front end. If all goes well you will have a very well bred foal for less than purchasing once born (total breeding fees would be: cost of frozen semen + $1,000 + fees at ET facility). For me, I get to do the part I love, the breeding, and know the foals are placed in solid competitive homes, hopefully allowing me to enjoy seeing them mature to their full potential. If I do not have frozen semen that appeals to you I am open to discussing other frozen semen options, or would be willing to do a fresh breeding to an approved stallion if you have paid the stud fee. Currently I have frozen semen of Floriscount, Fürst Romancier, Fustionist, Foundation, Fürst Fohlenhof, Blu Hors Romanov, Quaterhall, Dimaggio Black, 1/2 dose Danciero). All breedings would need to be with a Warmblood approved stallion AHS/ ARS, DWB or GOV. All foals will need to be named with my naming convention (name ends in/contains the word Blume) and me listed as breeder.
